GREAT NEWS !!

We have a Water Main Line Replacement project that has started in town. Many of our water main lines are 60+ years old and are in need of replacement.

We have applied for and received a $997,000.00 forgivable loan (grant) to replace 8,500 feet of water main line and services. This loan is from the Oklahoma Drinking Water State Revolving Fund administered by the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. This is an amazing opportunity for our town. I want to express our thanks to the many people that have helped make this happen.

The construction contractor is Orr Construction. They will be helping us with this project over the next two months or so. Please welcome them to our community.

Unfortunately, projects like this will be messy. We will make every effort to cause as little damage and disruption as possible. Please be patient as we make these needed improvements to our water system.
