We will be doing a “Chip & Seal” project again this year.
Many thanks to the Oklahoma Economic Development Authority and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce for their help with REAP Grant funding for this project.
The Town of Arnett also wants to thank Ellis County for all their help on this project.
Weather permitting, we plan to “Chip & Seal” on September 9th and 10th. If this changes, we will repost this notice with an updated schedule.
We also need your help with this project and it is greatly appreciated.
Please do not park vehicles or trailers within 5 feet of the streets we will be working on during this time.
Please do not put grass cuttings or other debris on these streets for the remainder of the season as it can compromise the “Chip & Seal” quality.
We will be sweeping and patching the streets this week to perpare for the “Chip & Seal”.
